November 21, 2009 - Bistro Elan John Vanessa N2 -- Showing really honeyed and creamy tonight, yet light on its feet and refreshing. Not particularly deep in nuance, but great with the halibut dish. Loads of honeysuckle/honey drop.

Os aromas são pouco evoluidos e na boca o vinho não mostra o que se espera de um Chateauneuf branco, ainda mais com um irmão tinto famoso e que já foi o vinho do ano pela WS.

October 30, 2007 - Seattle Tasting Group does Châteauneuf-du-Pape (mostly Pegau) (Seattle, WA): A nice starter. I have never fully understood Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc, but these are often enjoyable. The Pégaü Blancs seem to be moving in a nice direction with more freshness and less oak. This 2005 was clean with a compelling dryness on the palate, lots of mineral and lemon. Fresh although perhaps a little ripe/alcoholic but still a nice aperitif.

April 18, 2007 - Fresh and bright, not particularly complex or interesting, but as it warmed up and opened up some of the telltale marzipan/honey/nutty qualities emerged.

February 17, 2007 - very closed on day one more texture than anything else but on the second day, wow! fresh pineapple and minerals with a lush mouthfeel. I love the hints of black licorice that come and go giving the wine complexity and depth. beautiful full finish with more licorice thrown in with the fruit and minerals. wonderful wine.
