August 18, 2019 - Some Wine Tasted Watching the Chicago Air & Water Show (Chicago, IL): Slightly dirty and fully mature red and black cherry aromas. Cleaner flavors, much better in general. Probably a few years past its peak drinking window. Tasted twice from two different bottles today, same experience.

January 15, 2019 - My favorite Seven Springs from the 96-2000 period, this wine was well contained with smooth earthy notes, dark fruit and a noticeable balance that the 99 and 97 seem to lack at this point in their development.
Balance didn't hold and by the second evening the wine was showing signs of distress. To those of you that are still holding bottles I would suggest you plan on drinking the entire bottle upon opening.1 person found this helpful Comments (2) -
