July 9, 2022 - Casual theme at Dibbs's: Couldn't make my mind up about this wine. It oscillated between being dense and dark with prominent alcohol and bitterness on the finish, but showed glimpses of silky tannins and a nice salinity on the finish. Probably needs more time.

August 5, 2020 - Sorry no notes. Just good Volnay

April 29, 2019 - Fine Vines Warehouse Tasting (Fine Vines - Melrose Park IL): Walk around tasting, brief note. Black and red cherry with a richness yet moderate weight. Good+ balance and energy on finish. In its peak drinking window.

    91/92+
