May 3, 2024 - Drinking great after a couple hours open. Really defies the vintage. Spicy, lifted bramble fruit. Nose is wide open with a wild feral quality. Palate when best is bacon fat mixed with dark sweet cassis and spice. For a period of an hour or so after opening the palate was cola like in an unattractive way, but came around into a layered, complex expression.

January 20, 2024 - An hour decant, the wine is elegant and very fine with well articulated aromas and flavors, and it's very much expressive of place. We loved this bottle.

December 12, 2023 - Clear medium light red. Very fresh red fruit, a bit sweaty, leather red flowers and berry fruit. Dry elegant red cherry, berry and pepper flavours and a medium weight dry peppery finish.

December 9, 2023 - This started difficult and then opened up nicely. A lot of black fruit, dust and red pepper and first. But opened up quickly with notes of red plum, game, tobacco and baking spice. Mouth pretty much on sour cherry at first but then got riper red fruit and cranberry, violet and more red pepper. Tannins are melted, medium acidity and finish. Not bad for a weaker vintage
