Community Tasting Notes 4

March 18, 2018 - Intense, although tasty with pizza. Too acidic on its own without food. I prefer the Italian originals. This is just a little too much, although a worthy try. Big red and black fruit, some leather on the nose. Just cranked a notch or two too high.

October 4, 2017 - Tough to get excited about this one. The fruit profile is nice, but there’s none of the acidity that, to me, is one of the hallmarks of the grape. As such, I don’t believe I’d guess it was Sangiovese in a blind tasting. There also isn’t a lot of complexity on either the nose or the palate. For my money, I’d much rather have the Italian version.

May 9, 2016 - Exactly what you'd hope for in a Washington Sangiovese. Definitely Drinkable, but could also gain with some more time.
