January 2, 2021 - warm and enticing bouquet of strawberries, ripe melon; medium bodied but rich and direct; rounded with a hint of tannins at this point; clean long finish; an unpretentious, delicious offering; might it be described as "syrupy" ? possibly, as it is one dimensional...but I'll take it.

November 13, 2020 - Glad I got another bottle to try as a slightly older wine. Delicious foothills/mountain Zin, and a good amount of old-vine sap. Balanced, with good focus of the redder fruit, not too much oak or alcohol. Good to have this style of Zin available; it's more versatile for food pairing, and a nice example of foothills Zin.

November 28, 2018 - No nose. Rasberry fruit, spice, balanced. Almost chewy tannins. Spicy finish. Good with leg of lamb.
