  December 30, 2023 - Good drinking now. Mid-red color. Starts slightly weedy at first, but with some air this develops a nice light red fruit flavor of strawberry, cassis. This really needs food to shine and has the acid to balance out something rich. Fresh, enjoyable and probably time to drink this now.

  July 26, 2020 - This has to be the finest Brouilly I have ever tasted. So much more sophisticated. ,not purple in tone or taste, and a vintner's hand that conveys an exploration of the Brouilly soil in ways that yield a much more Burgundian offering. Plenty of gamay flavors(restrained), tart purple grapes, smooth dark strawberry, nicely balanced tannic acid, and a pleasant, not perfect, nose with balanced fruit and mild black pepper.

  February 23, 2020 - Seems to have really put on weight over the past year or so. Powerful purple fruit, though a bit tart. Good for what it is in the right context.

  July 2, 2019 - very good, old world lean and didn't love air; was starting to fall apart a little by the end of the bottle.
