March 4, 2019 - This is really lovely. Some bright cherry notes, but also some bass-like savory notes to this some complexity. At first it is was a bit closed, but with food and then after dinner it really began to open up. I don't think will develop into something more than it is, but it is an excellent effort at domestic Sangiovese (in fact probably the best domestic version I have had to date).
