August 7, 2019 - This Azaya (our last 2013 bottle) might be starting to tail off just a bit from it's excellent peak, but still very solid and a great dinner offering at this point. Current community end date of 2021 still sounds about right.

September 3, 2017 - The Azaya Ranch (but from 2014) was the favorite of our guests visiting the winery from Florida... so we opened a 2013 at home to give them another shot at it. Beautiful fruit. Our last bottle of the 2013 will be sitting here for awhile, no doubt.

August 21, 2017 - This was a nice surprise -- have had some solid Pinots from Marin before, but this is a notch or two above any of them. Incredibly aromatic, with a silky, complex, and pure palate. Layers of baking spices, cranberry, creme anglaise, and loads of light-but-rich black cherry. As with all DG single-vineyards, this is an expensive wine, but in this case worth every penny.
