  May 18, 2024 - Man I am loving this juice. I have been delving further into the world of Bordeaux sweet wine over the past couple of months and I think the Coutet 2014 is my favourite to date. From .375ml bottle. Slow ox'd in fridge for 2 days prior to drinking. Intense botrytis on the nose. Rich, ripe and viscous with layers of honey, tropical fruits, apple and apricot. The finish is long and acidity perfectly balances the sweetness. I am sure this wine will get better with time so to ensure I don't get completely carried away and drink all of my bottles, I have stuck a few from the case into the back of the wine cabinet so I can reassess further down the road. Drink now or hold - either way you won't go wrong.

  Bright, powerful palate with an enveloping fatty side while maintaining impressive acidity. A great fresh, powerful and structured Sauterne with lots of fat.

  Nez exubérant de fruits blancs, mangue, ananas, abricot, vanille, piment habanero, touches de gingembre
  Bouche éclatante, puissante avec un côté gras enveloppant tout en gardant une acidité de impressionnante . Un grand sauterne frais, puissant et structuré avec beaucoup de gras.

  April 29, 2024 - PnP'd the first half. The wine was good from the get go but really came to life after a few hours of air allowing it to open out and express itself. Sweet, luscious and long. Pineapple, apricot, orange marmalade peel & honey - just delicious.
  The second half of the bottle sat in the fridge for a week with the cork put back in. It was still vibrant and full of life and dare I say it was even better.. This hits all the right notes for me. I was singing in the rain.

  February 21, 2024 - Porzana (Porzana, Mpls): Light medium gold color. Drank a glass over 30 minutes-Yes!. Wonderful; gorgeous texture, bright, pineapple, Mandarin orange, really tangy, apricot, very tart, young and vibrant - Yes! This was really showing well. In that sweet spot of early drinking now at 10 years.
