August 10, 2022 - Decanted 2+ hours. Fruit has mellowed and wine is in a great drinking window. Typical Cali PN that has aged gracefully Delicious.

May 20, 2022 - No formal notes. Solid bottleā€¦still very fruit forward and round. Excellent with grilled chicken and frites. Drank next to a 2013 ddlc sirens. The ddlc was lighter and earthier. All good

April 28, 2022 - Let decant for almost an hour. It was a crazy good Pinot. If someone would have poured this as asked me to guess what it was, Pinot would have been a stretch. Not sure what I would have thought it was but Pinot would not have been my first choice. Dark fruit is pronounced on the finish we have a very distinguishable cherry cola with some dustiness. No one else mentioned this in the reviews but is is SO present I think having planted this seed, others will have tasted the cherry cola. Beautiful legs and a nice long finish makes the a remarkable Pinot Noir. Sadly, this was my only bottle.

April 24, 2022 - Agree with the "earthy" descriptor, which was enjoyable in balance with the still bright savory red fruit and long finish. Perfect with roasted lamb Easter dinner.

December 17, 2021 - This was a little tight out of the bottle but with an hour of air it opened to show ripe dark fruits and a nice expansive finish. For me it did not hit the highs of my last note but still was excellent. In a flight with the '11 Mt. Eden I preferred the Mt. Eden for its elegance, but most at the table preferred the WS Estate for the ripe fruit and concentration, which is completely fair and both were great. Wish I had more. A
