August 5, 2023 - Upon opening it was bright and thin, and very little fruit. Poured into the decanter and let sit for about 2 hours before our meal. A little more character peeked out. Cedar, graphite, pink peppercorns, with earthy undertones. Some red raspberry was trying to step out, but only with dessert of dark chocolate squares. No structure at all, and appears that maybe once upon a time it had it. Drink this now, it will not get any better, but ultimately what was I to expect for the price that was paid for this wine. For an entry level to a Pomerol that does not break the bank, this is a good deal, however, this serves more as a weeknight drinker than the weekend steak dinner. Served with a Tomahawk rib eye and scalloped potatoes.

May 29, 2022 - Lovely, perfumed BDX. Incredible value here (and typically from Taillefer). Soft tannins, medium finish. Decanted for 4-5 hours with good results.

July 27, 2021 - Heavy cloves and blueberry notes. Deliciously earthy.

June 2, 2021 - easy wine, good price, not much characters but not bad foreasy drinking.
