January 18, 2024 - Bromley Wine Circle does Bordeaux - 18th January 2024 (Chez Moi): Punches above its weight. Meatier than I recall other bottles in years gone by, only the faintest nod to Merlot chocolatiness. Fully tertiary and gorgeous with a faint seem of liquorice adding to the ensemble.

June 30, 2023 - Bordeaux WIMPS #166 30th June 2023 (La Trompette, Chiswick): Dark raspberry note to the nose with a few, subtle flakes of tobacco and some Goji berries. Palate has lovely texture and balance. Really à point for me. Returning after some time and after we had scored I think I might have been a little mean with this, there is additionally a slight blackcurrant macaron sweetness to the nose and a layer of meatiness to the palate. Chapeau.

September 15, 2022 - What a delight. Great fruit, oak and smoke, depth and complexity. Medium to full bodied, mollified tannins, balanced, multiple secondary and tertiary notes with a long finish. Very nice wine.
