August 16, 2019 - Bright nose of red cherry, red liqorice, Star anise. Medium - bodied, punctuated by sharp fruit, acid is not so high but creates sensation like drinking candy sours. No complexity and frankly speaking not a great example of Chianti, but serviceable as an accompaniment to pizza.

January 3, 2017 - Red berry, rose hip tea, lightning struck earth nose. Med bodied, elegant and complex palate. Juicy and earthy finish.

This is a sharp, edgy and pointed wine. Needs time to settle down. -

February 26, 2016 - Very nice nose with blackberries, blackcurrant and cherries. Good tannic bite and a spiciness on the palate. Very good QPR.
