  September 20, 2023 - Sooooo... I know this has the characteristics of excellent Cali cab. Super inky. Concentrated. Shrub brush. Berries. I guess I can respect and appreciate it for what it is. But just not our preferred style. Oh, well. Good to know what you do and don't like. Tons of sediment. Enjoyed on Sonja's birthday with lasagna at home.

  November 21, 2020 - High alcohol content, smooth linear finish, straight bitter, tannin are gone. Little fruit. Cassis, raisins, and Alcohol on the nose. No structure or complexity.

  October 17, 2020 - Some depth and power but the fruit was a bit austere for my taste - might have been the challenging vintage or maybe the bottle wasn't stored properly - bought it from K&L as a back vintage. The more recent bottlings are excellent, though a bit pricey.

  December 9, 2019 - A little better than the previous bottle I had - very dark, black, brooding fruit. Missing a bit of charm but makes up for it with power and concentration. 92+pts.
