Community Tasting Notes 2

  • fredb Likes this wine:

May 7, 2010 - Bright yellow-gold with some deepening of color starting to creep in. Aromas of overripe pineapple, honeysuckle, and crystallized ginger. On the palate, this shows a lemon curd, butterscotch, honeysuckle, and pineapple preserve character. Ripe and full. Preferred it more a couple of years ago, but still a fine enough drink now. Drink up.

September 30, 2008 - Bright yellow-gold color. Aromatically bright with honeysuckle, butterscotch, and sweet ginger candy notes. Palate is rich, but not as overtly fat as last sample over a year ago. Acid comes in to frame the ginger, lemon, butterscotch fruit notes through a long finish. Delicious.
