Every time I try it puts on weight. It’s now a rather lovely wine, still a bit under-ripe, but the fruit is (increasingly) there and it is aromatically quite charming.
I’ve discovered better cuvées and vintages since but I like to come back to this as a kind of ‘worst of’ Brick House. -

April 11, 2019 - Mid ruby. Quite tart cranberry and red currant fruit, putting on weight and rounding out after an hour or so to give a slightly sweeter strawberry note alongside the freshness. Very pleasant if not particularly complex. ***
