September 23, 2015 - Tasting at Bacalhoa winery, Setubal, Portugal: This is a "2 year" fortified wine. It is always bottled two years after the vintage and should be drunk soon thereafter.
A nice light sweet wine. Nothing complex, very simple, but with decent acidity to balance the sweetness. Light gold color. Very fresh flavors, caramel, stone fruits, cotton candy, leather. Nice finish. -

May 22, 2015 - Beautiful rich amber color in the glass, Dulce de Leche, honeysuckle and a hint of carmelized citrus zest. Very nice.
