March 30, 2023 - Medium garnet color. Offers black cherry, forest floor, dried herbs, minerals and dust. Satin texture, medium bodied. Sour cherry on the palate, earth and minerality with a salinity through the finish.

January 8, 2023 - My third bottle, and one year since #2, one glass of this (L6048) was poured through a gravity aerator and served one hour later, and the rest of the bottle was aerated and served the next night. If you want to open a bottle for dinner I would recommend a two hour decant. Similar to many other 2013s, this still has a restrained aromatic profile. Once open its shows dark cherry, forest floor and some hints of thyme/basil/mint. The flavor is much bigger, and shows red berries. It's got a medium++ body, excellent acid-tannin balance, and a savory, round and full finish. Very food friendly, with lots of acidity and a very nice 13.5%. Drink to 2035 . Very good QPR.

December 1, 2022 - PNP followed over several days. Dark in color. Nose of sour cherry. Same on the palate, along with earthy leather and a bit of tobacco. Relatively elegant, medium+ acidity, slightly dusty tannins. Ready with short decant, drink over the next 5+ years. Nice, classic CC.
