October 1, 2021 - Pretty much the same as the last tasting notes., though I don't rate it quite so highly.
Different food (Spag Bol) this time may have affected the appreciation? -

July 31, 2020 - Colour: Deep red with purplish edge.
Nose: Currents, blackberry, lavender and menthol.
Palette: Black current, red current, blackberry, nutmeg, pepper, creamy menthol finish.
Quite a long finish.
Very well made varietal wine with quite a long life ahead of it but drinking extremely well now. -

May 1, 2017 - Plenty of cassis, black berries, bay leaf (quite noticeable), other herbs, coal/asphalt and tobacco - both nose and palate. Finish is a touch short, balance is good after some air (bit sharp initially) and tannins well integrated. A good wine - maybe lacking excitement?
