November 24, 2016 - The cork was still in good shape, although barely; some red runners were within a few millimeters of the top. There was only a faint hint of an aroma left. Nothing bad, but nothing good. The wine was dull and lifeless. Over the hill. We poured it out.

November 9, 2008 - My guess is that this wine might have been past its absolute best days. Nevertheless, it was excellent, particularly with the leg of lamb that was the main course. Fully integrated. Tannins present, but pleasingly sweet. Just enough fruit to some flavor. Although the nose disappeared after it breathed for a while, in the mouth (which is what counts to me) it was splendid. I have 1 more, and I will probably drink it relatively soon.
