June 23, 2015 - Nose: ripe peach, papaya, honey and spice but also lemon-lime citrus. Smells like it should be very sweet. Palate: bone dry, excellent almost bracingly high acidity - but with plenty of mouthwatering citrus fruit. Some lovely tangy molasses/burnt caramel flavour but not sweet at all. Quite mineralic. Exceptionally well-aged, drinking beautifully. Medium weight. A superb example of how well Riesling can age, and an excellent value for what it is. £15, 10%.
