November 27, 2022 - A nose of still bold fruit and spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied Bordeaux blend, with black cherry, cassis, chocolate and spices on long finish. Still needs a decant to left wine open up, has years left to enjoy. www.winelx.com

February 14, 2021 - Cherries and rich currant fruit with its signature mint. Add some savory notes of iron, coffee, and red bell pepper. At eleven years it still has grippy tannins and a firm structure. A nice version, a good typical representation of this wine. At a peak, probably stable there for another five years.

January 15, 2021 - A hint of band aide on the nose. Brett starting to show itself? Very enjoyable none the less. Complex and tasty. Time to drink my other two bottles.

January 6, 2021 - Gang of 4 in Covid19 times; South America (@ RW): Perfumed bouquet with mint and eucalyptus. On the palate menthol, oak , a lot of sweetness and mild tannin. 90 – 91

September 20, 2018 - This thing is so unique.

It evolved over an hour from a tight, woody nose and flavor through a phase of sour notes with punchy acidity and then flowered into a gorgeously nuanced wine.

Nose of muted fruit, granite. Flavors are vegetal and dusky red berries with a ground up cocoa beans essence. Black tea leaves flavor the late palate and linger forever.
