April 14, 2021 - Big and bold, lovely crushed berries, mint and herbs. PJA simply makes good wine at all price levels from bargains like this to megabucks like La Chapelle. Drinking well now, some sediment so decanting useful, will keep for a little longer but so good now why wait. With lamb neck and pan-fried butterbeans with garlic tomato purée.

March 19, 2021 - Dark red, good legs. Menthol aromas from the very start, hedgerow fruit and summer sun. Stupendous value from the The Wine Society at £10.50
