  April 15, 2021 - I liked this bottle better than the one a year ago, but it still seems to lack the pizzazz and snap of better vintages. I just had a 2016 demi-sec Le Mont a few days ago and it was more enjoyable. This is still nice, but not the usual fireworks. 5+11+17+7= 90

The palate as expected is a touch off dry with medium plus acid and a lengthy finish replaying the wet wool, honey and baked apple.   July 20, 2020 - Musty nose to start out so was wondering if corked, but it was clearly not after some decanting. I do think this is not a great bottle or vintage of Huet as the great ones are stellar. This was good with the risotto Milanese tonight as the saffron really did well with the Demi-sec style and the orange notes of the wine. A good bottle but not a great bottle.

  June 11, 2020 - Not my favorite Huet, which is to say it’s still pretty darn good. Deep gold color, clear and sound. No sediment. A little funky VA at the pop that disappeared within an hour. Light bouquet intensity and somewhat light bodied mouthfeel for a demi-sec. Very nice pineapple/grapefruit/white peach flavors with medium-high persistence but it just seems a little empty in the middle. I cannot fathom a guess on its future potential, but it doesn’t seem to have the structure that I usually associate with a long term prospect. 5+10+16+8= 89
