September 29, 2020 - This wine is deep garnet in color with a med intensity of aroma. The nose consists of prunes, stewed blackberries, cardamom, black pepper, ripe raspberries, cedar, milk chocolate, and cotton candy. This wine is bone dry with med(+) acidity, med(+) body, high alcohol, and a med(+) finish. The palate consists of nutmeg, black pepper, grilled strawberries, stewed blackberries, vanilla, and eucalyptus. Overall, this is a very good wine that should be drunk now.

May 6, 2018 - Popped and poured. It should probably be said that I’m typically not attracted to this style of wine (nearly 16% ABV) but this was undeniably fun and surprisingly interesting to drink. This was a gigantic wine; a veritable shipping container of blue and red fruits, a flash of scorched earth, baking spices, and licorice. Still tannic and the acid is somewhat hidden but present. Long finish. This has been drinking consistently well over the last two years and should continue to do so for the next few years.

August 23, 2016 - Alcoholic Nose. Not enough on the mid palate. Smooth but pretty short finish with again a little too much alcohol going on. Definately a strong milk chocolate nose which continues on the palate, this one is just to sweet for my liking.
First Day: tight nose, not much on the palate except for huge tannins and acidity.
Second Day: pretty similar, not opened up yet
Day Five: Nose opened up, milk chocolate, blackberries, much smoother on the palate.
If you have some bottles, keep em in the cellar for now.
