September 29, 2020 - This is in peak drinking shape - notes of apple and pear on the nose. So much intensity on the nose and palate and a finish that just lingers and lingers.

    June 29, 2020 - Vertical of 2014/2015/2017.
2014 was muted upfront. White flower, green apple, and high acidity. Tasty stuff.

2015 showed a touch of reduction. Sour apple, lime, and some sweet tropical notes. slight bitterness on the finish.

2017 was perhaps an off bottle. No obviously identifiable fault, but it showed some fruit, with super high acid, and an oaky bitterness on finish. Just didn't feel right.

March 9, 2019 - Incredible showing. So compelling. Don’t be afraid to drink now and give it an hour to show it’s full grit. Special.

December 17, 2018 - Outstanding aligote. Somewhat mercurial, with razor sharp citrus acidity but also with some intermittent, round caressing notes. Finishes long, reverberating with citrus juices and zest, hints of stone fruit, and salt. Was just as good on second night. This just toppled my favorite aligote -- Bachelet's-- from its perch.

August 22, 2018 - Hauntingly good on the nose with notes of nutty and smoky wood, apple, stone fruit and autolysis. Quite juicy and firm on the palate with good depth and powerful acidity. Wonderful citrusy intensity, this is no timid wallflower. Bone dry and quite linear, finishes tart and focused. A somewhat demanding yet very rewarding wine.
