October 24, 2017 - Green notes and Burgundy like funk on the nose. A little bit of honey/honeysuckle as well. Taste - nicely balanced. Dry but a little bit of boisterous-like complexity. A little herbs and some butter.

March 27, 2015 - Has really matured well. Not a grape I typically love, but this was delightful. Typical smells but avoided the cloying weight that Marsanne can bring. 13%

June 13, 2009 - Sumptuous marzipan and creamy orange-apricot preserves but with enough structure to tame it and a long finish!

November 21, 2007 - A friend left this at our house after a dinner party. We popped it tonight to get ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Upon first opening, my first reaction was "hmm, what the h*#' is this." After letting it sit for an hour or so, however, my tune changed for the better. The color of the wine is quite light -- almost clear. The nose is quite restrained, almost absent. On the palate, the taste is unique and wonderful. This has an oily viscosity, which leaves a lingering citris flavor on the tips of your lips. The wine has a dry, nutty, pineapple, apricot, and soiled earthy flavor -- all in a good way. My spouse commented that this is better as it warms, and I completely agree. Do not chill this wine -- it is at its best semi-warm. The oils and the fruits pop out, and the richness of the Marsanne and Roussanne grapes emerge. This started out as a semi-dud, and wound up as a great find as it warmed and was exposed to the air. There is a hint of bananna oil here, some palm bark, and caribbean sand. Reminds me of the beach. Pretty nice stuff.

March 10, 2007 - Good effort from a grape I'm not that familiar with. Nice minerality, but not the greatest qpr.
