April 8, 2016 - Color: garnet hues with slight translucency.
Nose: herbaceous elements and tart/sickly sweet crab apple.
Flavor: tart herbs with dark chocolate on the forward. Not much going on other than chalky tannins on the finish which is short and unimpressive. Light to medium bodied.

Very muted or watered down flavor profile. Not sure what's going on with the bottle but not impressive. The sweetly tartness subsides a bit if the bottle sits open for an hour and the nose improves as well. Drink.

July 27, 2015 - As much as liked the 2013 version of this wine, and also enjoyed their white Terre di Chietti, I am really disappointed with this Chianti. It is easy explain why, they filtered out all the good, tasty stuff. This wine is almost totally sterile, and really never should have been released to the public. Whatever grape growing or wine making flaw they had to eliminate, also eliminated the flavor. Even imagination can not bring any redeeming qualities to this one.
