February 22, 2024 - This is an excellent pinot and a good demonstration of what a good pinot should be. Lacking emotions to be in the top shelf but ticks all the technical boxes.

    Drink now to 3+ years.

October 25, 2023 - This was really enjoyable. Lovely nose good bright palate. Faded a little as we drank the bottle so wouldn’t hold any longer. Excellent

March 19, 2022 - Red Cross Charity Dinner (Shangri-La, Singapore): My experience seems to contrast with some of the recent notes on this wine. I thought this was absolutely lovely, and drinking perfectly on point. It had a lovely, lovely nose, with red cherries and sweet berries, rose petals, and then damp earth and mushrooms, with little sprigs of eucalyptus and bramble, chased with a blush of spice. A really beautiful bouquet. The palate was drinking wonderfully too, mid-weighted, but with a lovely transparent purity ringing through juicy flavours of dark cherries and red berries, earth and spice, some floral perfume, and then just those tiny shades of menthol and eucalyptus just peeking around the edges to remind you of where this came from. There was a new world sunniness wed to quite old world balance to this, with an effortless feel that was almost Burgundian in its poise and elegance. Absolutely lovely, and drinking perfectly now.

March 1, 2021 - Not a huge nose but a lithe palate of sour cherry with savoury and sweet notes. Modest length. My first guess was an Australian Sangiovese- but the colour was closer to Pinot. Fruit may have been more lively a couple of years ago

December 5, 2020 - There's some cherry and a touch of undergrowth along with some spices , cinnamon, cassia, nutmeg, clove, cumin. There is a bitter element there which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I'm not loving the clove element. There's an initial sweetness with a touch of creaminess - think strawberries and cream that is overtaken by the spice elements.
