September 14, 2023 - bit leaner and herbal than the usual offering from Giaconda. Interesting, and drinking well, but nothing to call your mum about.

January 4, 2023 - A strong green grass nose and initial palate that detracts from the wine. Otherwise all the good stuff. Had with a some fresh lobster from Bass Strait.

Full and rich nose. Gun-powder reduction in spades. Apple, citrus and nuts combine for a very complete and satisfying nose. Gotta love the gun-powder! Coche-like.
Fullish, very concentrated palate. Rich, balanced and with an impressive grip. Pure, classic, long, fat. All melded togther. Oak and orchard fruit and gun-powder in lovely combination.
So good now, but can be cellared 5-10 more years.
When revealed our group concluded that 2008 Yattarna had met its match. This wine was on level pegging with Fontaine-Gagnard Batard-Montrachet from the same vintage (2015)
