December 25, 2021 - Still fruit forward after nearly a decade in the bottle - front of the palette forward - has that woodbridge silk, and is aging well. I found the wine was good, not great however.

March 6, 2021 - A velvet glove indeed. Decadent integration, subtlety behind the power. Black fruit, spice and a touch of oak. Still some big tannins that can ride a few years but good luck not drinking all of this right now. Bold up front, lesser impact on mid palate and the finish may walk softly but it carries a big stick. Fleshy lavish and broad.

August 7, 2020 - Holy goodness! Blue and black fruit, impeccable balance, all of my favorite characteristics of the 2012 vintage. It’s lovely.
