  October 4, 2020 - Similar to my previous note, perhaps a little softer and definitely more together as a wine. Delicious and went very well with a nice bowl of pasta.

  March 4, 2017 - Really fragrant. Violets, spice, red currant and black currant. There's some roasted red capsicum, dried herbs and fennel seeds. Super fresh acidity, powdery tannin. This is good stuff.

  January 2, 2017 - I was really hopeful for this, by the reviews and was a little disappointed. I've had some great Chinons and this is not in the same class. It would appear that Cab Franc is an old world wine and when you brighten it up in the new world it high lights some of the funk and the dark rubber. Interesting experiment though.

  October 17, 2016 - Lifted floral and plummy nose, spicy and earthy flavours which some tobacco, cedar, mild mocha notes and some herbal flavours. Medium bodied, still showing young tannins and some edginess that will smooth out in time. Needs air and food to really show its best now but a lovely drink that should age under screwcap particularly well.

  August 15, 2016 - Raspberry, cherries, black/red currants, animalistic, vegetal notes and a floral/herbaceous hint (however no bell peppers). Elevated acidity, medium body, medium tannins, dry, medium finish.
