January 10, 2021 - Decanted in late afternoon (with no sediment) and followed. After about an hour and a quarter the wine was open and expressing all it had to give. The color was dark ruby, fading to a watery rim. The nose offered up dark red fruit, earth and some cedar. The medium bodied palate offered the same, plus some blue/black fruit, spice, and cocoa. The acidity was relatively balanced, and the tannins were well integrated. A crowd pleasing, easy drinking, non-cerebral wine. Could hold for a couple more years.

September 11, 2020 - 2 hour double decant. No sediment to talk about. This is hitting on all cylinders now. Not a blockbuster but every bit of what this label can show. Great definition, clear cab flavors, cassis and black fruit, bracing acidity and a bite of tannin. In a really good place now. Excellent value for $18.00 paid. Score of 92 based on price and experience tonight.
