May 11, 2020 - Tasted blind. I could've sworn this is a gang-of-four Beaujolais. Sour cherries, barnyard, red berries, and orange peel on the lovely nose. Great acidity with savory notes, cherries, and some funky/gamey flavors on the palate. Good, lingering finish. Great wine, if you like the style!

July 8, 2017 - A private lunch (Restaurant Bak, Amsterdam, NL): A blend of Trousseau and Poulsard, no sulphur added, 10.5% ABV. Pale colour, strawberry and rosehip; complex nose starts out quite tertiary (like an old Burgundy) with nuts and forest floor, opens up to estery red berries, roses and violets, but also barnyardy aromas, good depth; fresh and juicy palate, supple, vibrant and mineral, silky and seamless, little or no tannin, relaxed, light body, hint of carbon dioxide; green apple and tangerine finish, good length. Exciting but drink soon.

July 9, 2016 - Trousseau and Poulsard. Forestberry aromas with charming whole-cluster/semi-carbonic perfume and very light reduction that doesn't call for a decant. Featherweight in body (10,5% abv) with light grip, lovely juicy fruit and nicely balanced acidity - refreshing, not demanding. There's an understated volatile component that lifts the aromas and flavours instead of wrecking them. Really very good. Drinking beautifully on its on, preferrably in one go, since it has seen no so2 whatsoever

August 30, 2015 - VinAare seminars (Bern, Switzerland): Glowing robe. Cool, menthol, bramble, with some berry perfume. A great nose, slightly wild and savage. Wow, this is pretty austere on the palate w/ very fresh acidity and a lingering, dark, leathery aftertaste. Very persistent acidity. Poulsard and Trousseau.
