November 3, 2023 - The first day was disappointing. The top of the cork was dry and starting to become crumbly, so I thought it was possibly past it's prime. I did pour through an aerator and gave it maybe 30 minutes before drinking. Fading fruit, dry tartness and tannins still noticeable with a harsh finish. I thought about dumping the remainder. SO glad I didn't!
Second day was a completely different experience. Blackberry and dark plums with chocolate and leather full and expressive. No tartness on the backend nor objectionable tannins. Well integrated and lovely with a medium finish.
Still holding its own. Give it a good long decant.

August 28, 2023 - Delicious! Perfect to drink right now. Some sediment, but didn't need any time to open. Beautiful fruit and smooth tannins. Paired nicely with an Italian Sunday Gravy. Wish I had more.

August 27, 2023 - Drinking beautifully. Cannons have softened, beautiful, blue fruit, and a lovely finish. I will probably buy some more if I can find it.

March 11, 2023 - Been about a year since my last sampling of this vintage. Is still going strong, needs at least an hour to open up. Very pleasant black fruit notes with solid tannins.
