April 20, 2024 - Deep brown in colour but still see through in the center, with a medium rainy, translucent rim and a good amount of legs.

Intense on the nose with a lot of dried fruit notes - dried raisins, dates, honey, beewax, orange marmalade, dried apricots, dried figs, and hint of salted nuts.

Dense, intense, and unctuously sweet on the palate with dried raisins, dried figs, dried dates, dried apricots, with a bit of acidity to cut through the sweetness. There is a bit of heat in the palate but finish is exceptional.

August 31, 2018 - Extremely good, nose of smoky honey, creme brûlée and tropical fruit (kiwi?). Silky rich palate with more honey, apricot and tropical fruit, peppery finish with great acid. Balance and spice help meter the sweetness to a very long finish. Great non-botrytis sweet wine showing fine complexity.

June 17, 2017 - The color was dark amber, almost like Pedro Jimenez, with a nose of honey and ripe fruits. Peaches, apricot, creme brûlée, and honey notes combine with a tangy element on the palate. There is a little bit of oxidation, but I'm guessing that was intentional and it still tastes vibrant. I'm not sure how long this style of wine should last, but this wine was more enjoyable than a 1990 Yquem that I had in 2010. That wine was closed and possibly needed an additional 20 years to come of age. This wine was delicious and ready to go now.

January 8, 2017 - It had some florals and sweet Muscat type things going on. There were lavender notes and sweet raisin fruits. It maintains refreshing acidity and had enough sweetness coupled with cut to suit most of the dessert offerings at Twist.

November 20, 2016 - So concentrated, focused, dense, lots of honey and caramel notes, mixed with slight raisin too. Impressive. Tasted at B-21.
