May 9, 2022 - Lovely. Still quite fresh and only just starting to show teriary flavours and development . Drinking well though. Wish I had more, cost a whopping 9.99 about 20 years ago! 4

June 18, 2021 - Reducing my pile of this very good Bouscassé vintage. Not much to add to my last note from one month ago. It's a really fine vine. This bottle is relatively light with rather softened tannins and "open" flavours, very enjoyable indeed. Excellent to drink it very slightly cool during the current heat wave in Europe.

May 20, 2021 - Still good color, developped some orange on the edge. Classy cool nose, old-viney. Still firm to drink. Naturally full but nothing forced, good stuff. These Madiran never quite surrender but keep their kind of hardish, tannic edge that either one likes and appreciates or dislikes. I absolutely love it. The 1999 is good but the 1998 Bouscassé is even better. I don't think the '99 will develop further.

April 12, 2020 - Tasting über mehrere Tage:
