December 27, 2023 - 2002 Pride Mountain Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon
Cellared since release 2004, Opened and enjoyed Dec 22, + 23, 2023
Deep purple top the rim of the glass. Nose of dark fruit and slight vanilla.
Rich, deep black fruit with definite touch of sweetness on tip of tongue, segueing to a sumptuous, caressing mouthfeel. The wine had a 10 second finish.
This Mountain Cabernet fruit driven wine is delivering great drinking pleasure at 21 years of age and exemplifies why you buy and cellar good wine. It has a long life ahead, but regrettably, it was my last bottle.

December 29, 2022 - WOW. 20 years old and still amazing. Took 10 minutes to open...and then it was smashing. Still has 2-3 years of life...but don't hold past 2025.

December 9, 2022 - These are incredibly warm and friendly wines easy on the palate. Mountain fruit on the crest between Napa/Sonoma they have had the guidance of terrific growers and winemakers over the decades and they are seemingly capable of staying in that groove.

July 24, 2022 - Popped and poured...cork intact...mellowed notes of dark blue fruit with some sweetness...fully-integrated tannins with smooth, medium-length finish...definitely time to drink up, though still very enjoyable.
