July 22, 2008 - Cabernet Franc is often uneven. But when it is good it can be outstanding. Sinskey wine, though wonderfully organic is often uneven. This time the grape and the wine maker were firing on all cylinders. Reminding me why I love Cabernet Franc. I think aging it in our cellar helped a ton.

July 20, 2004 - With buffalo burgers and fries. I live on the hill across from the RSV Vandal Vineyard where the grapes in this wine are grown. Excellent flavor from the Carneros climate. This hillside vineyard is almost in the Mt. Veeder appellation and has a steep east facing slope.
