Community Tasting Notes 18

  • Babik Likes this wine:

April 21, 2018 - Last bottle. Rancid butter spiked with lemon and saline on opening. Bitterness blew off with some swirling. This is past and needs to be drank or dumped ASAP. Still had the acidity though; I’ll give it that.

May 27, 2017 - Had a strange funkiness on the nose that I found very off-putting. Based on other reviews I wish I would have found a newer vintage.

April 24, 2017 - Agree with Spicy1 to a minimal extent that the wine has mellowed a bit. A bit of air and warmth brings back all the notes I tasted on 1/31. Still great QPR.

April 23, 2017 - This was a great bottle last year but has lost most of its fruit and depth. In future I will buy early and drink early.
