July 24, 2020 - Nose of red berries and underbrush. Slightly vegetal notes on the palate, that gives a certain "sharpness" to an otherwise elegant wine. Spice, tea and rasberries. Good, but not as great as expected.

April 12, 2019 - I thought this was nice, though not great. The nose was beautiful with lovely fruit and spice, no green notes that I can find, black tea, ripe red fruit, classic Chinese 5 spice. The palate was good, but a little thin through the middle. It did not change much though the dinner. Still very good effort.

August 15, 2018 - Pretty, perfumed nose of cherry, earthy liquorice, and stemmy spice. Broad and dense, classic Nuit St Georges, the 2011 Les Vignes Rondes needs time to uncoil. Drink starting 2020.
