Community Tasting Notes 5

June 15, 2022 - Delicious Interesting and complex blend from RRV. Golden in the glass, pronounced aromas and flavors, nose of yellow fruits and jasmine, palate is dry fruits expressive and leaning ripe, apple, pear, dried apricots, cream, toast, creme brûlée, acidity is soft and integrated, body is mouth filling, note of white chocolate leading to a long finish.

    January 15, 2018 - PNP. drank over 2 days.
cork perfect. color straw. nose has mostly florals and its perfume is reminscent of gewurzt. swishing this shows dense acidity, but the fruit is thick and keeps the stern acidity at bay, and likewise the acidity keeps this from feeling too fat. I really liked it last time i drank it, and still do.

October 5, 2016 - Six nations tasting (49 King Street Wharf): wonderfully floral and perfumed with white blossom, white peach, lychee…lovely and engaging. Very pretty.

September 11, 2016 - Well made, interesting, complex. Recommended from back room wines.

Definite oak influence with vanilla and butter balanced with acidity; not flabby. Hints of almond, lemon, chive blossom, and tarragon.

A bigger white to be sure but one that was unique and enjoyable with grilled swordfish, corn soufflé, and sugar snap peas.

December 27, 2015 - PNP. color straw. nose has tropical fruit and florals. really can't pinpoint this but no doubt a consequence of the blend, 45% Friulano,
35% Malvasia Bianca, and 20% Ribolla Gialla. blind on the nose I would guess sauv blanc from California. swishing shows prickly acidity and some chalky fruit with a dense 30 sec finish. sipping reminds me of new world viognier, but not the flabby kind, but the edgy rich kind with great delineation. I am a new fan! thanks Sarah
