June 6, 2021 - A bottle with an imperfect cork which allowed minuscule amounts to seep out. Overall the wine was at its expected drinking stage, maybe a touch advanced. Stewed cherries, mushrooms, wood floor with noticeable dusty tannins which leave a plucky mouthful for minutes as finish. It is light in weight with a noticeable gentle alcohol burn to finish the mid palate. Not tired in anyway just a bit more advanced as expected.

March 31, 2017 - Deep concentration of ruby, youthful garnet rim. On the nose intense tart red and black berries secondary spice characteristics with a slight elevage. On the palate fine grained tannins high acid medium alcohol medium bodied round texture well balanced medium complexity with a medium length finish. Expressing Burgundian qualities, here too is an archetypal Morgon (cote du py) confirming the ageability that is frequently apparent within the beaujolais cru sub-$20.

May 15, 2016 - Légèrement briqué.

November 13, 2015 - Good currant and red fruit. Fruity yet gives you fullness.

October 11, 2015 - 2nd bottle . Good balance of fruit and full bodiness - currant and black berries with a tartness that fades nicely away.
