  November 2, 2020 - We have waited an awfully long time to open this wine. It did not disappoint! It showed its age but still had decent structure and fruit. We drank it over a 2+ hour period and it kept getting better and better.

Dark blackberry and black cherry on the nose with black licorice and mild oak The palate is creamy, rich blackberry, cassis and black leather leading to licorice and a soft mid-palate with integrated tannin. The finish is about a minute. Sad to see it go...

  November 30, 2007 - This was a fantastic wine. Decanted x 2 hours the enjoyed with bacon-wrapped filet mignon, this was just great. Nose of blackberry, black cherry and cassis. Palate has cassis, currant, black and red cherry with some light vanilla. Tannins are soft, round and supple. No touch of heat on this. Drink well now and can go another 5 or so. Great job.
