October 17, 2017 - Attractive, lively and elegant Sauvignon Blanc. This has nice brightness, sweetness and balance. Bought from the winery.

February 13, 2016 - Lovely wine that speaks of Sauvignon Blanc and reminds me of a recent Sancerre from Hippolyte Reverdy I had. Sunshine in a bottle, balanced and unadorned by oak with a long supple finish.

November 27, 2015 - Nice wine. This sauv blanc has more character, body and style than most. And by most I mean about 99 percent of them that aren't priced firmly in the stratosphere due to greed. This is an affordable, multi-layered sauv blanc that the average wine lover can partake in. This wine is more of your citrus fruit, grapefruit, kiwi, etc. Drinks more like an old world chard, montrachet-ish. Acid on front is subdued after it was open for 2-3 hours, leaving more of the fruity characteristics that go with just about anything. Wm Harrison isn't just our 9th president, they are a great boutique Rutherford winery that makes a great 100-case production 2014 Sauv Blanc and pours their heart and soul into it. Drink now.

October 29, 2015 - I had stayed away from Wm Harrison's white wines until now (besides the chard) and why I don't know. I guess I was more intrigued immediately by Rutherford Red and their Cab Franc. So, I did finally secure some SB and Rose. Tonight was the SB. This one was nice! The wine poured a very light color in the glass, but was a slightly darker hue in the bottle. Wine was all asian pear, grapefruit and kiwi on the front and middle. There was a ton of acidity on the finish, and went amazingly well with sushi. There was a very distinct minerality that showed in the middle headed towards the finish but the front was all fruit. Bottle was gone rather fast. This is the first "non-red" enjoyed from them and it's clear that they also very much excel here as well. Drink now.
