September 3, 2023 - Just beautiful. A touch on the hot side or I would have awarded a couple more points. Just superb with our Italian meal. Great out of the bottle, and opened even more over the course of two hours. Near peak

July 25, 2023 - Soft and supple with a smooth velvety finish. Good acid balance. Still good fruit. But, it is starting to show signs of age. Better drink soon.

October 1, 2022 - Unfortunately had to PNP as restaurant didn’t allow for pre opened wine to be served. While it didn’t have the benefit of air which it needed, it was nonetheless a great compliment with food. Solid, drink now with air.

September 25, 2022 - A super Brunello. Flora-lavender-violet nose with moderate expression. The palate dominated by cherry/strawberry with a long finish of integrated fine tannin and acidity. Paired great with Manicotti with red sauce. The bottle was not decanted, but was lovely immediately upon opening and improved over the next three hours. Drinking great now, but should improve. Critics note till 2030 or beyond, although it appears to be near its peak now. I will drink my final bottle in 2026 or so.

December 31, 2021 - Nice soft spicy fruit. Cherry and miscellaneous berry, and still quite fresh for its advanced age. Tannins mostly faded, but no old saddle notes that I could tell. No hurry to drink.
