December 23, 2021 - Surprising wine. Not Pinot Noir on the nose: warm, raisiny, beautiful barnyardy quality of hay and sweet manure. Much more Pinot Noir on the taste, elegant and long, beautiful cherry fruits, albeit still with a hint of sweetness. If you told me it was Dolcetto or Barbera, I would believe it. Almost what grows together goes together. Interesting.
