September 19, 2020 - After dumping a btl of Trinch! earlier in the year (like drinking perfume), was worried about this guy. Pleasantly surprised by the elegance and balance of this. Great silkiness, taste the authentic LV / CF terroir, nice earthy minerality balanced by a solid dry core of dark cranberry-cassis fruits. Hints of herbs along with violet/floral notes perfume the creamy and well-balanced finish. Definitely see it lasting several more years, and at <$40 w/discounts this is solid! 91-93+
