August 24, 2017 - A week in Napa for the Napa Valley Grape Growers Harvest STOMP party; 8/22/2017-8/27/2017 (Napa, CA): Tasting visit with Randy Snowden. Tasted this in a flight of three single variety bottlings (Merlot, Cab Franc and Petit Verdot). This was ready and open for business, velvety texture and well rounded in the mouthfeel. Red fruits and some earthy character. Drinking very nlcely now.

September 16, 2016 - My favorite merlot I've had so far. Very similar to their The Ranch Cab.
The Alcohol is a tad high, but there's savory herbs, meat, plums and black berries in a juicy, racy package.
